Zune screens cracking from battery pressure?

I have left my zune charging for well over 8 hours more times than I can count. I can't even recall it getting warm. Others might have something else to say but I have never experianced anything close to that kind of heat it would take to crack a display.

It could not be the heat, but the expanding of the battery without making heat.
