If ever you wanted to see how to completely f*ck up your dominant business through greed, apathy and corner cutting, just have a look at Dell from 2000 onwards. Would make a good B-school study. Not even Sony has shot themselves in the foot so completely.

If you're a business you just can't cut corners on customer service. You will pay for it, one way or another.
